In the afternoon we ran a 2 boat trip with the ADAM BOMB, and Chris Dick's group. They bit in the AM, but not this afternoon. We fished a two boat trip with Pat Macneil and his family on the STALKER and the FISHIN FEVER. Between the 2 boats they had 5 drum between 15-40 lbs. May 2

We fished with Tom Fusco Sr. and Tom Fusco Jr. along with Mike Sweeney, Pat Denery, and Dick Spotts. It was a nice sunny day, with calm winds, but no fish! We will try something different this afternoon. April 26
This morning we fished with Joe Connely and Jerry Jinod and his group, in the afternoon, we fished with Gus Alteri and his group, unfortunately both trips had 0 bass. I don't know what is going on this spring season, one day they are here, or even one tide, with keepers, and limits, and the next day, all the boats in the bay are skunked, we are trying out hardest and trying everything we can. We will be trying for drum soon, if you don't see a current report, please email or call anytime, things will get better, and we have drum, flounder and tuna on the way! Thanks for checking! April 25
We fished with Jay Hoffman and his group, they boated 2 bass. Bill Rebuck and his group had a decent trip this morning. They boated 9 keepers to 36", with a total of 15 stripers. It was nice to finally find some fish today, and have them bite...we fished in the bay with clam. April 24
Gus Ruggerio and his group gave it their best, but we got the skunk this afternoon. April 24
I hate to keep posting the bad new, but we tried, and it just didn't happen again today, we fished with Dick Spott, Jumbo, and Rich Kennedy, and his group, we lost one at the boat, and boated 1 keeper. April 23
Ken Hitelbeitel, Bob Mohalland, Scott Weiler, and Bob Ready gave the other tide a try this afternoon, but still, not a touch this afternoon. April 23
We fished with Abe Kaplin and his group from Margate, they tried many different spots, and ended up with nothing today. They still had a great day on the water, but fishing has been on and off this spring. April 22
It was a little windy, but fishable. They boated 1, 30 pound drum, the first of the season, which was released and 5 keeper stripers, one which was caught by Taylor Mackey, her first striper, which was a keeper!!! Good job, Taylor. We had rough conditions, and canceled the PM trip, unfortunately. Its good that we went in the morning, Bryan Giran and his group had the best day of the season, limiting out on bass to 20 pounds, and catching a total of 45 stripers. All fish were caught in the Bay with clam.
We had a 2 boat trip with the Adam Bomb, Doug White and his group had 31 stripers with 7 keepers to 34" April 18
Once again the PM trip was better, Tim Clark and his charter had 18 bass to 29". April 18
Seth Mackler and his group had 6 bass while clamming in the bay. The biggest was 30" Steve Cline, and his group fished with Bob Mohalland, and Dick Spotts. The afternoon improved, they had 25 stripers with 3 keepers! view previous | view recent |
